My name is Kristi.

 I am a happily married wife, homeschool mom, dog mom, Sunday School teacher, Registered Nurse, Legal Nurse Consultant, and writer.

I graduated from Pensacola Christian College in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in nursing and started working in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Tucson Medical Center in July. On occasion, I would float to the Labor and Delivery Unit and care for the newborns there as well.

My daughter was born in July 2009, and I took a year off to focus on her.

When I decided to go back to work, I needed a job closer to home. So, in October 2010, I started working on a Cardiac/Telemetry floor at Oro Valley Hospital in Oro Valley, Arizona. I occasionally floated to other units, including ACT, ER, and the Medical-Surgical floor. 

In August of 2021, I was injured and could not return to my bedside job. So, in October 2021, I opened my writing business, Write Shift RN LLC.

After completing Legal Nurse Consultant training in 2023, I added medical-legal content to my list of deliverables.

My portfolio showcases many of my bylined articles, and I also offer ghostwriting services.
